ABS resin is one of the five major synthetic resins. It is excellent in impact resistance, heat resistance, low temperature resistance, chemical resistance and electrical properties. It is also easy to process, stable in product size and good in surface gloss. It is easy to apply. Coloring, it can also be used for secondary processing such as surface metallization, electroplating, welding, hot pressing and bonding. It is widely used in industrial fields such as machinery, automotive, electronic appliances, instrumentation, textile and construction. Wide range of thermoplastic engineering plastics. The acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer is a terpolymer composed of acrylonitrile, butadiene and styrene. The English name is acrylonitrile–butadiene–styrene copolymer, referred to as ABS. ABS is usually a pale yellow or milky white granule amorphous resin. ABS is one of the most widely used engineering plastics.

The structure of the ABS resin is a graft copolymer having an elastomer as a main chain and a graft copolymer having a hard ABS resin main chain; or a rubber elastomer and a hard ABS resin mixture. Thus, different structures exhibit different properties, the elastomer exhibits rubber toughness, and the rigid AS resin exhibits rigidity, and can be obtained in several types such as high impact type, medium impact type, general impact type, and special impact type. Specifically, as the content of the rubber component B (generally 5% to 30%) increases, the elasticity and impact resistance of the resin increase, but the tensile strength, fluidity, weather resistance, and the like decrease. When the content of the resin component AS (generally 70% to 95%) is increased, the surface gloss, mechanical strength, weather resistance, heat resistance, corrosion resistance, electrical properties, processing properties, and the like can be improved. The impact strength, etc., will decrease. The ratio of A to B in the resin component is 30%~35%/80%~65%, respectively.
